In 2016, Phly – Caeles Mind Over Matter, was entering the door and the kennel name PHLY SOCIETY was registered in 2018. I was supposed to have my first litter that summer, but health tests from the dog and bitch didn’t show satisfying results. For the next try out for further puppy plans, Margret Veigarsdottir “Kennel Caeles” who is a good friend and mentor, offered me to borrow her bitch Daisy, Caeles I’ve Got The Power. Daisy and Phly have the same mother, Caeles It’s Showtime, so the plan came close to my heart. Daisy arrived in November 2018. Now Daisy expects her first litter. Cant wait for the little ones to arrive.
For the last four years, I’ve been a member of the Italian Greyhound committee, under The Norwegian Sighthound Club. I’ve also had a year in The Norwegian Sighthound Club board and The Norwegian Lure Coursing Committee. My interest for Dog Show and Lure Coursing comes in hand with that. I think it’s important to preserve the coursing skills and to demonstrate that they can perform their function, as much as in dog shows. Form and function in other words!
I live in Oslo with my dogs, and the forest is our closest neighbor. My dogs are my family and we share every day life together. It’s become a lifestyle having this little pack.
General health and testing is important for me, and my dogs are always DNA tested (FEH, PRA, PCAG), ECVO eye checked and knee examined. Under “The breed” you can read more and find links for health tests.
The PHLY SOCIETY KENNEL is registered in Norwegian Kennel Club, member of FCI.
